Adult Bible Study, Faith Enrichment & Catechetical Classes
Adult Bible Study
The purposes of the Bible Study Classes are (1) to study and meditate on the Holy Scriptures in conjunction with Holy Tradition and (2) to utilize the processes of Observation, Interpretation, and Application in order to strengthen and grow in our relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We currently have two weekly Adult Bible Study classes. One class meets on Thursday mornings at 10:45 and is led by John Lucas. The other meets Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and is taught jointly by Deacon Clint Sharpley and Father Peter Kostakis. Both classes meet in the Boardroom of the Arthur L. Sarris Community Center.
Faith Enrichment Class
A course which is designed for those who desire to learn about the Orthodox Faith and for those who already embrace the Faith wishing to enhance and enrich their religious understanding of the Orthodox Church and its Services. Class will meet starting in October following Paraklesis on Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Boardroom of the Arthur L. Sarris Community Center. Everyone is encouraged to attend Paraklesis at 6 p.m.
