Adult Bible Study classes have begun

It was in Palestine that the Christian Jews were most persecuted by their unbelieving Jewish countrymen. (1 Thess. 2:14) The epistle to the Hebrews supposes a high level of persecution. (Heb. 10:32–34) At times we are all tempted to ask, "How can we survive while evil permeates our world?" This is especially true after the horrific events in Las Vegas. We work and work as faithful Christians and evil seems to increase. Perhaps, that is how the original readers of Hebrews felt. Yet the author of this letter encourages them to stay on course and never quit, so that they may reach the finish line by the Grace and Power of Jesus Christ. Through our studies in Hebrews, we hope that you too, will find the encouragement you need to stay in the course toward Theosis.

Please consider joining our study group every Thursday, at 10:45 a.m. in the Boardroom of the Arthur L. Sarris Community Center at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Come for the cake and coffee, and stay for the fellowship and inspired Word of God!
