Glendi to benefit Ionian Village set for May 20th

Everyone is invited to attend an Ionian Village Fundraiser Glendi, to be held at the Arthur L. Sarris Community Center at Holy Trinity on Saturday, May 20, 2017.

The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and an auction, followed at 7:30 by a light dinner and dancing. All proceeds from the evening benefit the Ionian Village Rebuilding Fund.

Tickets will go on sale beginning April 23 after Liturgy during coffee hour. Tickets are $75 for adults and $50 for children 12 and under. Please visit us during coffee hour or contact Mary Ann Trapalis at (214) 361-4144 or maxanntrap@sbcglobal.net to purchase tickets.

On September 8, 2016, a tornado formed on the Ionian Sea and made landfall at Ionian Village, the home of the Archdiocesan Summer Camp in Greece, inflicting massive damage upon the camp. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the damage to the camp was substantial. The picture below illustrates some of the damage that was sustained.
