Men's Ministry update, April 2017

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” Proverbs 27:17

On March 25, 2017, after participating in the Feast of the Annunciation Divine Liturgy, over 20 Orthodox Christian men met at Holy Trinity Church for the inaugural Men’s Ministry group gathering. After introductions by those in attendance, a discussion was held about the spiritual foundation for a Men’s Ministry Group, ideas for future events and methods of communication. Planned events include a group outing to a Texas Rangers baseball game in May (see below for more details) and a Fall Retreat. Additional events and gatherings will be announced. All men who are members of Holy Trinity as well as those who are on the journey to Orthodoxy are invited to attend. For more information about the Men's Ministry group, contact: Andy Atalis, (217) 923-7454, Stephen Konstans, (214) 228-1030, or Deacon Mark Pakes (972) 814-2251.

Holy Trinity Men’s Ministry’s next event will be Saturday, May 13, 2017. We will meet as a group at the Church to attend Vespers at 5 p.m. From there we will caravan to Arlington for the Texas Rangers vs. Oakland A’s baseball game which starts at 7:05 p.m. Tickets to the game are $16. We will need a headcount for the event so we can order the tickets (the Church service is free).

If you are interested in going to this event, please contact: Stephen Konstans, (214) 228-1030, or Deacon Mark Pakes (972) 814-2251. We are looking forward to continuing our fellowship. All Holy Trinity men are welcome to join us.
